Pitt Commons is a new web portal that allows students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the University of Pittsburgh to connect and to establish networking and/or mentoring relationships that are meaningful and specific to their unique interests and academic and career goals.
Pitt Commons is your lifelong gateway to the Pitt network and with it, you can:
- Network and make connections
- Find mentors/mentees
- Join groups based on common interests
- Post and answer discussion questions
- Browse resources
Business-specific communities have also been created to allow you to connect and network with other Pitt Business alumni. These groups include a central Pitt Business group, as well as groups for Corporate Finance, Consulting, and many more.
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
I found my BUS 0020 class to be very informative, especially as an internal and external transfer student. After taking this class, I became more aware of the resources available at Pitt Business.
It was during one of our Business 10 lectures that my advisor Liz Adams said, “Pitt Business weathers the storm… trust in the business core.” Something about that stuck with me and I can’t imagine myself forgetting it.
