Student Life // Marketing Club
The Katz Marketing Club is responsible for coordinating many of the school’s extracurricular activities for students interested in Marketing, Brand Management, Product Development and Management, and Digital and Social Media Marketing. The club helps complement students’ marketing knowledge base through activities such as field trips to corporations and start-ups, organizing guest lectures, hosting and participating in case competitions, and planning social and networking activities. The Marketing Club also participates in events organized by the American Marketing Association (AMA), Pittsburgh Chapter.
Bhavesh is pursuing Full Time 2-year MBA with a specialization in Marketing and Strategy. He has a background in engineering and before joining Katz, he was working as a Network Excellence Consultant for Ericsson and has a work experience of six years in the telecom industry. Bhavesh has a passion for understanding the “why” behind everything and what makes people tick. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys long-distance running, cycling, playing basketball and soccer, and being outside during his downtime.
Mansi is a dual degree MBA, majoring in Marketing and Strategy, and MS in Management Information System student at Katz. She has an engineering background with specialization in Mathematics and Computing and has 3 years of work experience. Before coming to Katz, she was working in data-driven consulting role with exposure to industries in FMCG, Retail, Online Travel and has led growth and strategy team of entertainment division in India’s largest mobile e-commerce platform. She is a people’s person and is passionate about consumer-driven marketing, branding, and blending her knowledge of consumer behavior with empirical data to better understand consumer’s actions.
Darshi is pursuing a master’s in marketing science and business analytics. She has a background in Marketing and law. She loves Digital and Social Media Marketing and all that it entails. Her favorite thing about marketing is how the understanding of all disciplines come together and give the best approach to reach the customer. As a professional, she wishes to bridge the gap between consumers and organizations by crafting messages that resonate with the consumer. She spends her free time either Netflixing or watching ads on YouTube.
