What to Expect

Balanced Curriculum

A traditional MBA curriculum customized for healthcare professionals, courses meet monthly, and some material is delivered online or via guided study. The schedule is set a year in advance so you can plan ahead to meet professional, personal and academic demands. The cohort selects electives, and options include:

  • Leading Evidence-Based Organizational Change
  • Health Care Law
  • Entrepreneurship Start-Up Essentials

Cohort-Based Format

Students form a small and elite cohort that is together for the length of the program, enabling you to network with classmates who share common interests and careers. The cohort represents a wide range of health-related backgrounds and specialties, including numerous hospital systems and insurance, medical device, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Concierge Support

Our team of administrators and program managers takes care of the details so you can focus on academics. Program managers coordinate your course schedule, books, meals and other activities. We also provide technology and infrastructure support inside and outside of the classroom.

Practicum Research Project

The EMBA Healthcare program culminates in a practicum project for which you’ll prepare a major research project on a topic of your choice to demonstrate the knowledge, tools and skills you’ve acquired throughout the program. At the end of the program, you will present your findings and recommendations to a panel of faculty and healthcare leaders.
