Joint and Dual Degree MBA Admissions

Basic Requirements

We seek students that are ready to pursue the knowledge and practice to lead business organizations through collaboration and with the desire to be a catalyst for change.

An applicant will have completed a four-year undergraduate degree or similar from an accredited U.S. university, or the non-U.S. equivalent. It is expected that applicants will have taken the GMAT or GRE exam. International applicants who are not a citizen of a country whose official language is English will be required to take an English language proficiency exam.

The Application

Online Application. Create your personal application account where you can start and save your work as needed.

You will submit the following in order to complete your application:

  • Two recommendations
  • Essay responses
  • Current Résumé
  • Transcripts/Academic documents
  • Official GMAT or GRE scores*
  • Official TOEFL, Duolingo English, or IELTS test results (international applicants)
  • Application fee

Competitive applications typically include official and satisfactory results on the GMAT (preferably 600 or higher) or GRE (preferably high 150s in each section). International applicants additionally may need to provide official and satisfactory English test scores; the TOEFL (preferably 100 or higher), Duolingo English (preferably 125 or higher) or IELTS (preferably 7 or higher).

Applicants who can demonstrate the following two criteria may be considered for a GMAT/GRE waiver:

  • exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills through a prior graduate or undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution, and
  • extensive post-bachelor’s professional experience

Interview Process

Applicants may be asked to participate in our evaluative interview process upon initial review by the MBA admissions committee. While not a strict requirement of every prospective candidate, evaluative interviews are conducted regularly. Shortly after you submit your online application, you may receive an e-mail invitation to register for an interview. Interviews may be conducted in person or via video conference. We regret that we cannot conduct telephone interviews.

Rolling Admissions Information

The Admissions Committee reviews applications for the full-time MBA programs, including the Accelerated MBA and Dual & Joint MBA/MS degree programs, in rounds beginning in October through June for Fall (August) start.

For you to be guaranteed consideration for a given round, we must receive your application and all component parts, including official exam scores, by the stated deadline dates.
