Pitt Business Earns International Seal of Approval

Great news for Pitt Business: The school-wide accreditation of the College of Business Administration and Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business was renewed in August 2023 for the maximum period of five years. Only 5% of business schools worldwide earn this designation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

This accreditation represents the international seal of approval for business programs that provide high quality, continuous improvement, and excellence in education. The AACSB describes the process as a “rigorous external review of a school’s mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and ability to provide the highest-quality programs.”

The AACSB also notes that many global corporations only recruit from accredited business schools.
