The University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business MBA programs are designed to help you accelerate your career success and become a dynamic leader who can ignite business success in various industries with a global perspective.

Ranked as a Top 20 MBA program nationwide (The Financial Times every year since 2013) and as a leader in integrated learning, our mission embraces the concept that students learn best by doing. That is exactly why we continue to keep working to keep reinventing, in order to push the edge of what is possible.

All courses in our Part-Time MBA program options are taught by the same accomplished faculty that teach the full-time MBA classes. Both the online and on-campus programs use cohort-based learning.

The part-time MBA programs are designed to be completed in 2-3 years. Our part-time MBA program is filled with a wide range of professions and industries—engineers, accountants, project managers, and marketing team leaders—who look at business issues through different lenses, which enhances classroom discussions.

Meet Anna Rohac PMBA ’23

Why did you choose the Katz Graduate School of Business for your MBA?

I chose this program because I needed the flexibility that the part-time MBA program provided. It’s amazing to be able to get a part-time degree like that at an institution that’s as impressive and groundbreaking as Pitt.

In what way has Experience-Based Learning played a role in your education?

I was able to participate in the Global Research Practicum in Latin America. For a week straight, my classmates and I got to experience life in Buenos Aires and meet with ten companies to learn more about the economy in Argentina and how to conduct business there. That experience taught me so much more than any textbook ever could!

How has the Katz Graduate School of Business prepared you for greater success?

This program prepared me for success because it has introduced to me to so many wonderful people. I was able to grow my circle of friends and my professional network here, so it’s really a win-win!

On top of that, my time in the program gave me everything I was looking for in a graduate program. I was able to complete my degree while still working full time. As a part-time student, I was still able to study abroad and earn credit for it. My coursework allowed me to gain new skills and perspectives that I know will carry me into the future of my professional career for years to come.
