After an extremely successful career in Supply Chain Leadership roles at Fortune 150 companies, Jay is now Managing Director of SLBperformance a company dedicated to implementing strategic initiatives that improve shareholder value and drive customer satisfaction while significantly reducing expenses. As a former “C” level executive, Jay has the strategic expertise combined with his pragmatic hands-on approach to problem solving that can assist both large/small, private and public companies.
Jay has more than 30 years of experience in growth and turnaround companies with deep expertise in strategy, operations, supply chain, global/domestic transportation, manufacturing (nutraceutical and pharmaceutical), raw material procurement, contract sales, industrial engineering, vendor management, inventory planning/allocation, technology deployment, omni channel, 3rd party logistics, wholesale, B2B, retail operations and executive leadership.
Prior to SLBperformance, Jay was the Chief Supply Chain Officer for General Nutrition Centers (GNC) responsible for end-to-end supply chain from seed to shelf for the 9100 stores worldwide in over 50 countries, omni channel fulfillment, manufacturing, wholesale and contract sales business. Jay was responsible for the strategy/design and supply chain transformation for several companies in his career. Prior to GNC, Jay held senior executive leadership positions for Kohl’s Department Stores, Linens N Things, Macy’s, Toys R Us and Tiger Direct.
Jay serves on the Supply Chain Leaders Council for Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and is a speaker at conferences throughout the US on a multitude of topics that affect business leaders today. Jay graduated from Ripon College with a degree in Economics.
