Karri Rogers is the Assistant Dean of Operations at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to assuming this role, she served as the Director of Administration at Pitt Business.
Since joining the University of Pittsburgh in December 2014, Karri has been a key member of the Pitt Business leadership team. In her role she oversees Pitt Business school operations and coordinates development and implementation of strategic planning and AACSB reaccreditation initiatives.
In addition to providing strategic and operational support to Dean Assad and the associate deans, Karri leads the administrative team, responsible for business school finances, human resources, faculty operations and support, marketing and communications, information technology, facilities management and day-to-day operations. She also serves as a liaison between Pitt Business and the University as the Plan for Pitt liaison, Title IX Coordinator, and on other matters of compliance and operational issues.
Prior to joining Pitt Business, Karri served in numerous leadership roles in operations, human resources and on multiple merger, acquisition, and labor relations teams at Allegheny Energy and Duquesne Light Company. She earned both her master’s degree in public policy and management and her bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Pittsburgh.
Karri is a 2020 Pitt Sustainability Award Winner for her work in the Pitt Business Staff Leadership Collaboration and is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council.
