Profile
Ashley Chavez, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial well-being and the role it plays in shaping ventures, a central thread across her work. She also investigates how entrepreneurs navigate resource constraints and how entrepreneurial ecosystems shape access to support and opportunity over time. She brings experience working with government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations to promote healthy communities, economic development, and small business growth.
