Profile
Ashley Gomez is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gomez’s research focuses on the intersections of entrepreneurship, well-being, identity, and place. More recently, her research has been centered on the early stages of business development and inclusivity within entrepreneurial ecosystems. She is passionate about developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and strategies aimed at promoting the health and economic development of Latino communities in the U.S. Dr. Gomez brings professional experience in addressing societal inequities, working alongside federal and local government agencies, nonprofits, and community-based organizations.
