We warmly invite you to a gathering of Pitt Business Alumni in Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Come together to meet fellow graduates in the area and our MBA & MS students who will be in town participating in the 2017 Annual Conference & Exposition presented by NBMBAA & Prospanica happening that week (one of the largest conferences in the city this year).

In Memoriam: Dr. Thomas L. Saaty

Distinguished University Professor Thomas L. Saaty passed away at the age of 91. Saaty was an exceptionally gifted researcher and prolific author, and is best known as the creator of the decision-making mechanisms Analytics Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) for resolving complex problems.

Marshall P. Katz, Board of Visitors Member and former CEO of Papercraft Corporation, Dies

Marshall P. Katz, a member of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration Board of Visitors, died on July 18 at the age of 77. He was the former president and CEO of Papercraft Corporation, the household consumer products company his family founded.

Frank Cahouet, former Chairman and CEO of Mellon Financial Corporation and Board of Visitors member of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration died on June 20, 2017. He was 85.

Remembering a Champion of Entrepreneurship: Tom Olofson (BBA '63)

Alumnus Tom Olofson, founder of Epiq Systems, made a tremendous impact on the growth of the entrepreneurship programs at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration. He passed away in April 2017, leaving behind an impressive legacy.
