Congratulations to the December 2023 graduates of the Executive MBA in Healthcare program in the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
The students, all with 10+ years of experience, were celebrated by faculty, staff, family, and friends at a cohort celebration, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Pitt speakers included: Senior Associate Dean Sara Moeller; Executive Director Kim Abel; and Carrie Leanna, George H. Love Professor of Organizations and Management and Academic Director, Executive MBA in Healthcare.
The student speaker was Ramesh Ramanathan, attending surgeon, Magee Women’s Hospital of UPMC.
The Executive MBA program was specifically created to empower and enable leaders to think critically, make informed decisions, and inspire confidence. The healthcare program is designed for clinicians, administrators and professionals who work in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industries.
Awards and Honors
The Outstanding Professor Award, selected by the students, was presented to Associate Dean and Associate Professor Sara Moeller.
The Outstanding Student Award was given to Joseph Edward Losee, Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Five graduates were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society: Losee, Kavitha A. Conti, Timothy E. Flecker, Ethan Gable, and Ramesh Chandran Ramanathan.
