Their strategies were judged Dec. 9, 2023, by representatives of the United Nations, World Bank, and others, to help advance U.N. Sustainable Development Goals

This international competition brought over 250 students from around the world, working in 71 teams to solve global supply chain challenges while contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their innovative solutions demonstrated their knowledge and ability to address complex challenges while upholding principles of environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

In presenting the Certificates of Recognition to the University, the competition’s organizing committee leader Chung Tam wrote to the team’s faculty advisor Prakash Mirchandani, director of the Center for Supply Chain Management: “We are very proud to present your institution with the Certificates of Recognition. Your students’ success is a testament to the dedication and commitment of both the students and the educators who have supported them. This recognition reflects not only their individual talent but also the high caliber of education and leadership at your institution.
